a beautiful day in the neighborhood

I took advantage of an absolutely beautiful day here in Brighton and took some pictures with our new camera. here are some great shots of the sea and such... Also I tried to do a panoramic view ... its not the best but now i know how to use it.

and then there was this guy... i don't think anyone told him that his jeans were too big for him... how embarrassing for him.

Choas in Brighton

Craziness ensued last night here in Brighton. So Joel, a few friends of ours and I decided to go watch the sunset last night. So crossing our fingers that the sun would set this night we got our ice cream and proceeded to walk on our lovely beach front towards the west. Then we see it: a domestic fight happening between a guy and a girl... the guy is roughing up this girl real badly. So our guy friends go and walk towards the guy to make him stop. Five guys walking towards him, he must of been frightened because he stopped and let the girl go. The girl goes into this really nice hotel to sit and recoup i am sure. Then us girls go into the hotel to see if she is OK. She is sitting in the bathroom stall talking on the phone: to who you ask... of course to him. The guys confirm this because he was on his phone outside by the hotel. SO we start talking to the girl and she is higher than a kite, and cannot hold a conversation about anything but does tell us to come over to her place where we can forget our worries and be stress free.... Uh no thanks lady.
So then she leaves us, not without giving us sloppy kisses on our cheeks to go find her boyfriend.
Honestly what a mess that was...
but I am glad we were able to help.

Dara and I

My good friend Dara came to visit me in England on her way back to the States. She was in Ghana and Liberia for 3 months doing missions work... and she came to visit me as well!! We had a fantastic time together . I got to show her around our city and then we went into London! We saw the Lion King on stage (so great, so great)!! And we had a great tour guide Barry who told all sorts of good facts about London!! this pic was taken on the grounds at Holmsted.

on the tour bus with Barry, we miss Barr

dara needed to make a call.I was thinking about life... and the earth and I think I have a plan to save it!!
I love London, its a great city to visit and sight see. Come see us and I will take you to London! Open invite!
On outreach we went out once a week late at night around 1:30am and handed out water to the drunk clubbers. It was a practical way to show love and mercy to people in our city. People really apperciated the water and always asked us why we were doing it!! The last night of outreach we went out in the pouring rain and handed out water and a big group of people wanted their picture taken... and this is what came out of that!!

also this is what we looked like while standing under a canopy to get out of the rain.
