Videos of Violet.. so great
Violet was dancing up a storm in our kitchen.. but our floor is really hard and has these tiny raised bubbles ( a nightmare to clean.. i hate it) and she fell right over not even catching her self soon after this video and got a big bump with little dots in a circle on her forehead.. i have a video of the fall, but I decided not to put it up.. maybe later

Christmas 2009
This Christmas we had a really great time. We missed our families a lot this year but we were blessed with spending the holidays with great friends.
On Christmas eve our church does a nativity scene where all the kids come dressed up as a character from the story. Our neighbours who have two little girls Phoebe 2 1/2 and Olivia 9 months and Violet dressed up as the three kings. They had crowns and capes in different colours. It was so much fun and Violet loved it. Then we went down to our neighbour's house and we had beef fondue and watched Muppets Christmas Carol!
Then on Christmas day we had our own family time in the morning and then when over to another couple's house who go to our church. They have a 2 year old as well, her name is Anna, and Violet and Anna love playing together!! We had a lovely meal and time together as friends.
For new years.. now normally I hate new years, its always a let down.. you look forward to a big party or fun..but its never as good as you think it will be! Well this year was totally different. We went over to our friends Robin and Rich's house, we played the Wii and stayed up until 3am.. what the heck I haven't done that in a very long time. And also Violet got her first bloody lip... she tripped on their rug and hit her lip on their wooden table, it was terrible and her lip swelled up immediately.. but after the initial shock of pain she was happy again and ready to play!
violet's godfather gave her this piano, she loves it so much. you can sing into the microphone! very cool
